Concept Sketches

The client wanted concept sketches based on different themes I pulled from reading the article.

Linear Animation Draft & Color Blocking

The client chose concept 1, showing a brain jogging with weights (a play on the concept of working out your brain). The animation was hand-drawn using frame-by-frame animation.

Final Draft

Final highlights, shadows and textures were added to tie everything together. A final version of the print illustration included additional background elements.
