Health Care Worker Report-Back from Gaza

Infographics (2024-2025): Illustrated infographics created to support health care workers (HCWs) in their report-back presentations discussing their experiences volunteering in Gaza’s clinics/hospitals, and bearing witness to Genocide and unprecedented attacks on healthcare.

Challenges: HCWs returning from medical delegations often use photographs to accompany report-back presentations, which can depict graphic content that is difficult to show a general non-medical audience. In addition, many patients do not consent to having their photos shared, especially when they are in vulnerable situations. Creating illustrations as an alternative helps HCWs share their experiences, and the experiences of their patients with a broader audience.

Nurse-Midwife Report-Back (2025): Illustrations to accompany a report back of a Canadian HCW who volunteered in Gaza, depicting her experience being in the hospital when it was attacked, resulting in one of her colleagues being seriously injured by shrapnel.
