Concept Sketches

The client wanted the theme for the 2021 publication to be inspired by topographical maps and radiology scans of different organs.

Linear Drafts

Going with the concept of a flat topographical map, we looked at CT scans of the brain, heart and kidney and created a linear draft filled with (many, many) topographical lines, and hand-drawn labels.

Final Draft and Color Palette

A final color palette was created to resemble an older topographical map, with warm, soft tones and contrasting green and pink “rivers” and “paths.”
